Yes, I definitely use AI tools. I do use AI to help me work out ideas, and automations are run by.. AI. However, I do not generate AI images or blog posts, or website content through AI.
AI is a very useful tool to help me work faster, and get my ideas out in a more efficient and effective way.
I do not write content with AI, copy and paste, and send you a “blog post”.
I use AI to help be build an outline of topics, find related resources, and improve upon my work. Then, I manually build my project. If that project is a blog post, I type it out much like a high school research project. If that is the content of a webpage, I type out the webpage and format things myself. This is part of why you pay me, right?! Good work takes – time – or…. automation, AI, and such. I believe that while this is definitely an honest day of work, it also sets me apart from many marketers.
I do use stock images, free image resources as much as possible, Adobe, etc. So, you will definitely find AI generated images throughout my work. Thus is the nature of the digital beast. In a certain sense, you also cannot escape the AI.
Let’s be real, too… no one is paying a living wage for slaving hours over creating and editing “new” images when this entire generic library of the internet exists to use.
So, as much as possible – even as a digital marketer, I try to DO the work.
The world may be going digital, but humans are still required for connection, Humans provide the service, humans handle your business, too.
And yes, I charge more for my services because I am doing the work honestly. Using my good old fashioned time and energy which, includes my 10+ years of business experience, and all the investment I spent to get here… just like you and your business.
